At LeadingAge Oregon, we believe in celebrating the extraordinary individuals in our communities who dedicate themselves to making a difference in senior living. These awards honor those who go beyond expectations to achieve excellence, inspire their peers, and leave a lasting impact through their work.
The award recipient will be honored in a short video presentation during the LeadingAge Oregon Annual Conference, taking place May 5–7, 2026, at the Salem Convention Center. The recipient’s community will be responsible for creating and submitting the video to LeadingAge Oregon by April 3 (additional details to follow).
The presentation of the award itself will take place within the recipient’s community, providing an opportunity to celebrate among residents, colleagues, and friends. LeadingAge Oregon leadership will be available to participate in the presentation and are happy to join the event in whatever way best fits the organization’s plans.
Communities will be notified if their nominee has been selected as award recipient by January 30.

CARING SPIRIT
Honors an employee from a member community who consistently demonstrates exceptional service and dedication in their profession, providing outstanding direct resident care.

Honors an employee from a member community who consistently exemplifies exceptional service and dedication in a non-resident care role, making a significant impact often behind the scenes.

INNOVATIVE PROGRAM
Honors an individual, or group of individuals from a member community who have developed programs and services that are models of excellence, innovation, and best practices.

HOUSING STAR OF THE YEAR
Honors a housing manager, coordinator, or maintenance tech who exemplify commitment, professionalism, and excellence. This category celebrates those who go above and beyond to create safe, welcoming, and well-maintained communities.

EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR
Honors a CEO, executive director, administrator, or manager from a member community who exemplifies exceptional leadership, fosters innovation, mentors others, and makes significant contributions to their community.

SILVER STARS
This award is presented to any employee from LeadingAge Oregon provider member organization who has not already received a Silver Star Award and has been employed at a LeadingAge Oregon provider member community or organization for 25 years or more -- as of May 10, 2026.
