This position is responsible for assisting with volunteer programs associated with various programs of Cedar Sinai Park. Responsibilities - Assists with the recruitment of volunteers and communication of volunteer needs, conducts orientation of volunteers as needed, maintains updated records and background checks on all volunteers, reports on volunteer program as needed, implements volunteer recognition, responsible for volunteer related data entry and upkeep of related data bases, updates volunteer calendars and mail distribution lists, arranges for transportation, through drivers, when needed, tracks volunteer hours and community participation, works with community partners as needed; volunteer fairs, events, collaboration, assists Life Enrichment Department with large events as needed. Qualifications - The Volunteer Coordinator must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years’ experience creating and implementing volunteer programs is preferred.
